The Anaina Hou team will once again provide a FREE holiday feast for those in need of a meal or an ohana to share the day with this Thanksgiving. This beautiful annual event is only possible thanks to the generosity of many in our community. They are deeply grateful for the collaboration with the team at Aina Ho'okupu o Kilauea, who will be leading the imu crew and donating local produce from the Kilauea Community Agricultural Center for our meal. In addition, the Waipa Foundtation has allowed us access to their Hale Imu, once again, where we’ll cook our donated turkeys, ham and ulu. They have ask members of our community to utilize the generosity of the Foodland Maika'i Program’s annual free turkey giveaway, to help fill the imu with delicious turkeys. Please drop off your donated turkeys to the Anaina Hou Mini-Golf during business hours. They ask for the support of generous individual and corporate donors to provide food for our meal, prepared side dishes, desserts, serving items and more to help make this immense community effort possible. With all of this support, they will provide a bountiful meal of delicious turkey, ham, gravy, stuffing and side dishes for as many as 400 members of our community to enjoy.
