The airline, which began service between Honolulu and Princeville in May 2019, is making the change to better reflect its role in the community, according to a press release. Princeville Airways began scheduled services between Honolulu and Princeville last year using two de Havilland DHC-6 Twin Otters. Princeville Air uses two twin-engine Piper Chieftains that can accommodate nine passengers each. Flights between Princeville and Honolulu started up again May 1, 2019 after a 22-year hiatus. Princeville Air flies twice daily round-trips between Princeville and Honolulu Monday through Saturday. The airline is offering a limited time one way $99 plus tax introductory airfare. Located at 130 Iolana Place on Lagoon Drive, Princeville Air is on the other side of the Honolulu International Airport, away from the terminals and traffic congestion.
