The Kauai Board of Realtors partnered with the Kauai Habitat for Humanity to help some deserving Hawaiian families build their own homes in Anahola. Last weekend I was one of about 40 volunteers who joined together to help with the construction of 3 new homes for families so appreciative they thanked everybody with a home cooked lunch. Supporting the cause were Realtors, family friends and even a few folks who chose to spend part of their cherished vacation time rolling up their sleeves and getting dirty for a good cause. In addition to the labor provided, the Kauai Board of Realtors also raised the majority of their $10,000 financial goal. Donations of time and money are both welcome and very appreciated, feel free to contact me and I will be happy to point you in the right direction.... as soon as my back stops hurting!! haha.. :)
